21.05.2013 - 22.05.2013 | Kyiv, Ukraine
The First Stakeholder Forum for STI Programme Owners and Managers was held in Kyiv on 21-22 May 2013. The State Agency for Science, Innovations and Informatization of Ukraine hosted the event. The main objective of the Stakeholder Forum was to identify and discuss options for an enhanced science, technology and innovation cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union.
The event got together programme owners and managers from the EU countries with the most active bilateral cooperation with Ukraine, namely: Germany, France, Poland, Austria, Hungary and Turkey. The European business perspective was presented by the KIC InnoEnergy representative from Krakow who outlined practical steps towards enlarging KIC activities in Ukraine. The European perspective in general was presented by DG Research and Innovation.
From Ukrainian side, a balanced perspective was secured by programme owners who represented the State Agency on Science, Innovations and Informatization of Ukraine (SASII), the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (NASU), the State Fund for Fundamental Research (SFFR) and the National Space Agency of Ukraine (NSA). The event was organised under the patronage of Dr Borys Grynyov - First Deputy Chairman of the State Agency for Science, Innovations and Informatization of Ukraine and supported by the EU funded Project BILAT-UKR*AINA.
On 21-22 May 2013, the BILAT-UKR*AINA project (in which the DLR Project Management Agency is a project partner) organised its first Stakeholder Forum for STI Programme Owners and Managers.
